Rabindranath Tagore’s timeless poem dreams of a world "where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls." I have been fortunate to find a microcosm of that world here at UC Berkeley.

This series is an attempt to capture that spirit. It will feature stories of the remarkable people I have met from every corner of the globe - individuals whose journeys and aspirations reflect a world where ‘the head is held high’.

Join me in exploring this freedom through their voices, celebrating a global community defined by no borders.
